Transit QR Code (乘車碼)
◎Fares:
A fare equal to a single-journey ticket will be charged.
◎Transfer discounts:
Use EasyWallet, iPASS MONEY, or icash Pay to ride buses and the MRT to enjoy a two-way transfer discount between the MRT and buses. To receive the discount, you must use the same e-payment method for both rides. The total discount will be calculated and credited to your e-payment wallet the following month, with the first rebate distributed monthly starting from March in coordination with the Taipei City Public Transportation Office.
◎Usage:
Open the Transit QR Code (乘車碼) in your mobile app. Hold up the QR code on your phone to the gate scanner (at a distance of 4–5 cm) when entering. Once you hear the piano sound and see a green arrow on the screen, the gate opens. Scan the same way to leave the station.
