Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation ─ Metro Service

■ Introduction:
In light of the ongoing replacement of old elevators at various MRT stations, Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation(TRTC) provides free paratransit services to disabled passengers for transfers between stations with ongoing construction works and neighboring stations starting from June 18, 2012. The buses come with installed wheelchair lifts, which measures 107 x 76 cm and have a maximum weight capacity of 300 kg.

■ Transfer:
For example, disabled passengers who want to take the train to MRT Linguang Station can transfer at the neighboring Xinhai or Liuzhangli stations by utilizing the paratransit. On the other hand, those planning to take the train at the Linguang Station can instead take the paratransit to one of the two neighboring stations and board the train there.

■ Reservation
Passengers requiring this service should contact station staff or call TRTC 24hr Customer Service hotline at 886-2-218-12345 to make a reservation in advance.
