What can I do if my EasyCard is withheld by the value-adding machine or if the process of value-adding is irregular?

Cash: Please fill out the "Application form for refund/complaint".
1. Passengers who meet the refund requirements and the amount of the refund is less than NT$1000 may ask for a refund directly on presentation of their ID card.
2. Passengers who do not meet the refund requirements or the amount of the refund is in excess of NT$1000 may not obtain a refund on the spot. The refund application will be handled directly by the EasyCard Corporation (It takes about seven working days).
ATM cards:
1. If passengers use ATM cards to add value onto the EasyCard but fail to complete the value-adding, but the value has been deducted from ATM cards, then it is necessary to print out the transaction record and fill out the "Application form for refund/complaint". The refund application will be handled directly by the commissioned bank (It takes about seven working days). No refund will be made on the spot.
2. If passengers' ATM card or other card is retrieved by the machine, please fill out the "Application form for refund/complaint" at the Information Counter. TRTC will inform the bank to handle it.
